Brazilian Bodybuilder Admits His 29-Inch Biceps Are Fake

Huffington Post-When Brazilian bodybuilder Arlindo de Souza flexes his biceps, he looks like a modern-day Hercules.

Truth is, he's not as strong as his 29-inch biceps would have you believe, because they're not solely the result of pumping iron.

De Souza, 43, gets his massive musculature by injecting a concoction of mineral oil and alcohol into his body.
The man known as "The Mountain" can't lift any more weight than before he began with artificial enhancements two years ago, according to Barcroft TV.

De Souza, a bricklayer, wanted to become the big man at his local gym in Olinda, Brazil.
He had already been taking steroids, hormones and horse vitamins when a gym buddy suggested he try a "site enhancement oil" for an extra advantage.

"The guy gave it to me. He said, 'Take this, it will make you grow in days'," de Souza said according to the Mirror. "I loaded the syringe, put it in my arm, injected it and it swelled me up right there and then. To tell you the truth, I didn't feel a thing. There was sometimes a bit of dizziness but nothing apart from that.
"I was working out the same so my strength stayed the same -- nothing changed."

The injections pose great potential risk to bodybuilders.
Doctors claim frequent injections play havoc with muscle tissue and can result in the formation of multiple abscesses which can lead to amputation or death, the New York Post reports.

De Souza says those problems are because people don't know how to properly inject the fake muscle-building concoction.

"Most people who take it do not know how to apply it. They will use just any old blood vessel. Some will end up losing an arm, another needs an operation, some may even lose their lives," he said, according to the International Business Times.
That's what happened to de Souza's deceased good friend, Paulinho.

"I felt his death a lot. He took it, I took it, but he went beyond the limit," de Souza said, according to the Daily Star. "I advise no one to take this oil."

De Souza claims he is no longer injecting, but admits the desire to start back up is always in the back of his mind.

Though he's sought medical attention, he said doctors won't operate because he "did it to himself."
"If I get ill, if my arms burst, that's when I can go and see the doctor," he said. "But for me that's normal and something I've accepted."

Spoiler Alert! This guy's boulders are fake! What normal, high school educated person would think these manmouth arms were real?! But to be real here, if this guy does not stop injecting this mixture of alcohol and mineral oil into his body this headline might change to, 43 year old body builder named "The Mountain" dead at the age of 43. As a guy who loves lifting weights and having jacked up arms (at least I imagine I do), there is no way no how this method of getting big will ever be healthy. It is not worth losing an arm or losing your life. I usually do not get serious on this blog but this proves how crazy and stupid some people can be just to be happy with the way they look. "If I get ill, if my arms burst, that's when I can go and see the doctor," he said. "But for me that's normal and something I've accepted" Well at least he will accept if he gets seriously hurt or die from this. - Rob

P.S Arlindo, your neck fat looks like a horse collar for a football player!

WOW! Does B Marsh prove people wrong again or what?! I can not even imagine running that fast. Next time you are in a school zone doing 25 MPH imagine a 6'4 230 pound man keeping up and maybe with a burst going past your car. If your a Bears fan I would be ecstatic to see this, show me anyone else in the league that big run that fast. Incomparable.

Brandon Spikes Says He Has Spent Four Years As A Slave In New England

Former New England Patriots line backer Brandon Spikes said today via Twitter that he has felt like a slave the past 4 years in the Patriots franchise and how excited he is to be playing for the rival Buffalo Bills now. So let me get this straight Mr. Spikes, you felt like a slave playing for arguably one of the best franchises in the NFL and with their track record of making young players stars you probably could of been one? That is one of the most childish things I have ever heard coming from a big bad linebacker out of the University of Florida (could be saying something...GO CANES!). Anyways, and then you go on to say how great the awful, humiliating franchise of the Buffalo Bills is going to be and that you are going to crush the Patriots twice? Alright, we will all see where your name will be in 2 years.

If you have anything to comment on this situation or feel that Brandon Spikes was a slave for 4 years in New England, please do. -Rob

WILD!!! Mini-Pool Table Trick Shots!

YouTube – Join Florian ‘Venom’ Kohler once again as he embarks on an ambitious world trickshot tour that spans 9 countries, 5 weeks, and over 300 trickshots. From the casinos of Las Vegas to the mountains in China, Florian pushes innovation to defy the laws of physics at every turn.

This is the most impressive thing I have seen done in a while. This guy with the awesome nickname of "Venom" by the way, defies gravity with these shots. The dude has to be a math wiz and calculates where and what the Q ball will hit at a certain time. From casinos in Vegas to mountains in china, really? Give Venom his own TV channel and put his videos on repeat. Can not take my eyes off it.-Rob

TV news reporter makes funny mistake, talks MLB instead of mudslides

Forget about reporting on mudslides. A local news guy in Washington had baseball on his mind while he was out reporting on some nasty weather.
Spring training has begun and people are excited about the upcoming season. Tom Yazwinski, who works for Q13 FOX, is one of those people and he doesn't think the Texas Rangers will be a contender.
Watch as he weighs in on the AL West team by accident ... on live TV. His face at the :16 mark of the video is priceless. -Andy Nesbitt Fox Sports.com

There is nothing more hilarious than watching screw ups on live TV, especially when newscasters are supposed to be informing us about important things going on in the world. Now, who is to blame here? The newscaster himself or the camera man who obviously did not give him any signal that they were about to go live. I am going to put 100% fault on the camera man in this situation, the poor newscaster was just talking some baseball talk about the Texas Rangers and boom! He gets embarrassed all over live TV.

If any of you citizens in the state of Washington were injured in anyway from a mudslide by not being informed from this news station, go after the camera man its your best bet, -Rob

Jeff Gordon takes blogger along on high-speed prank or did he?

(CNN) -- You insisted the first Jeff Gordon wild-driving viral video was a fake. What do you think of the second one, Travis Okulski?
Oh, this one is "unequivocally, one hundred percent, totally, absolutely real," he says.
How would he know? Because he's in it, the victim of a prank and Gordon's revenge.
A year ago, Okulski called out Gordon on the Jalopnik auto blog after the millions of views for a video in which Gordon dons a disguise and takes a supposedly unsuspecting car salesman for a high-speed test drive. It's one of those commercials masking itself as a video that begs the question: Is it fake?

As of Thursday evening, the video, "Test Drive 2," had 1,000,000 views in just a few hours. Test Drive, meanwhile, now has almost 41 million views. Okluski wrote on a blog post on how he fell for the cab gag. "I thought I was going to die," he wrote. "I yelled, I banged the glass, I actually tried to kick through the Plexiglas window between the driver and me. I pulled out my phone to call 911 but couldn't keep it steady enough to dial."
He insists this video was definitely real.

So for my first official blog on this odd sports page, I have decided to go with the hottest, most popular YouTube video out right now and it has to do with future NASCAR hall of famer Jeff Gordon. Last year, Gordon along with his sponsor Pepsi Max did a prank of him impersonating a taxi driver and using his driving skills to erratically drive and scare the living crap out of his passengers. As soon as the first video went viral people were so fast to call it fake and staged. So as an act of revenge, Gordon decided to make another video but this time getting back at a blogger who completely destroyed the validity to his first video. They BOTH claim that this one is 100% real.

I personally think that these commercials are great and completely hilarious. So why not believe it the second time around? Jeff Gordon is one of the best drivers out there and is very loyal to his fans, when he says something is true believe the guy. It is amazing to me that people and other news sources are still doubting this future legend of the driving world. Plus, 1,000,000 views is phenomenal and either way if its real or not the video is still entertaining our boring lives. Jeff Gordon could be the greatest prankster of all time or he could be the biggest scam artist of all time. Which ever way this story goes, he is still entertaining his fans on and off the track. -Rob
